Digital microfluidic technology allows for the manipulation and control of fluid completing the full process of nucleic acid extraction, amplification, and detection of the sample to be tested within the cartridge. lt addresses the drawbacks of conventional nucleic acid testing protocols, thereby actualizing a fully automated genetic testing paradigm of "input samples, output results"
